About Focusing on Photography
About Denis Grenier
With money earned from my first summer job, I bought a Miranda 35mm SLR camera and The Dark Side of the Moon. I went to college where I register with the Photo Club. I learned to develop black & white films expose photographic paper, dodge and burn and so on. This is also when I started buying 35mm film in 100 feet roll. After college I did continue taking pictures with a Pentax Spotmatic, a Pentax K-1000 followed by a Ricoh KR-5.
I came to digital photography late when I bought a Canon XSi. All that time I strongly believed that film was better than digital. Now I shoot with passion with a Canon 5D Mark III, a Canon 50D modified for Infrared photography and I still keep with me a Canon Rebel G with color and black and white films.
My main areas of expertise include Macro-photography, Landscape, Portrait and Humanitarian cause. I like to tell a story, or simply expose the beauty of planet earth.
